Web Design
Desktop Layout

For the final outcomes, I began by developing the desktop web designs, including the homepage, landing page, product listing page, and product detail page. These designs were created to be cohesive, accessible, and aligned with the existing classic football shirts website, while integrating the “World Cup Legends” campaign alongside the World Cup 2026 content. I focused on improving navigation through the use of larger typography, clearer imagery, and a more structured layout. This helped guide users more effectively across the site. Additionally, my graphic design team mate Kaspa provided an alternate design of the product listing and detail pages which to support our collaboration in coming up with different layouts and both worked well in the user flow. The overall tone of nostalgia and excitement is reflected through the choice of players, imagery, and bold visual style. Feedback from peers during the Crit presentation was particularly useful in refining these designs, ensuring consistency and clarity across all pages.
Mobile Layout

I then translated these designs into a mobile format, which was an important part of maintaining accessibility. My aim was for the desktop experience to respond seamlessly to mobile without losing key content. Instead of removing elements, I adapted the layout by introducing larger buttons and hit areas, making interactions easier and more user friendly. Maintaining a consistent user flow across both platforms was essential, ensuring users would not feel disoriented when switching between devices. The flow begins with the “World Cup Legends” hero banner on the homepage, leading into the World Cup 2026 landing page, which combines both modern and classic content. From there, users move to a clean and uncluttered product listing page, followed by a clear and structured product detail page. Across both desktop and mobile, the designs maintain strong brand identity, clear hierarchy, and consistent navigation.
Social Media Campaign
For the social media campaign, I created a series of Instagram posts showcasing popular classic shirts using dynamic compositions. Each design uses varied background layouts to highlight key moments from the players and careers, while maintaining a cohesive visual system. The nostalgic and authentic aesthetic, combined with bold typography and consistent branding, works effectively within Instagram’s format.
TikTok
I also developed TikTok content that aligns with the “World Cup Legends” concept. One video presents a sequence of Messi shirts from 2006 to 2026, capturing both legacy and progression. The second uses assets from the website’s hero banner, featuring classic shirts and ending with a clear green call to action. Together, these outputs create a consistent link between social media and the website, supporting engagement and promotion.
Motion Content – Animated Hero Banner
I also explored motion content as part of the campaign, developing a simple animation for the hero banner. In this sequence, the shirts appear one by one before revealing the campaign logo, helping to create a sense of build-up and focus. This approach is effective in capturing user attention and adding a more dynamic element to the website, making the landing experience feel more engaging compared to a static design.
However, I also considered the potential limitations of using motion in this way. If the animation were to autoplay continuously, it could impact both performance and accessibility, particularly for users with visual impairments or sensitivity to motion. To address this, a future improvement would be to include controls that allow users to pause or disable the animation. This would ensure that the design remains inclusive while still benefiting from the added visual impact of motion.
Physical Campaign Outputs
Instagram Mockups
For the physical campaign outputs, I first adapted my Instagram designs into mockups to show how they would appear within the app, providing a more realistic context for how the content would be viewed by users. This helped demonstrate how the campaign translates effectively across digital platforms.
Bus Stop/ Billboard/ Mural
I then developed a bus stop advertisement featuring the Messi shirt, incorporating a QR code that links directly to the website and campaign. This creates a clear connection between physical and digital touchpoints, encouraging user interaction. Alongside this, I designed a large scale billboard using bold branding and a striking player graphic, ensuring it would stand out and capture attention in a public space.
The mural concept, featuring five iconic players, was originally intended as a billboard but proved more effective as a mural. This format enhances the nostalgic and cultural aspect of the campaign, reinforcing the “World Cup Legends” theme through a more immersive and expressive medium.
Print Campaign Outputs
Finally, me and my design colleague explored print and packaging proposals, Kaspa mocked up branded cardboard boxes, business cards, and I added sports water bottles. These outputs extend the campaign beyond digital spaces, helping to strengthen brand identity. The water bottles also serve a practical purpose and could be sold as merchandise, further supporting the campaign commercially.
