Banner Ads

For this stage of the project, I designed three digital banner advertisements in different industry standard formats, a wide skyscraper (160 × 600), a mobile banner (300 × 50), and a rectangle banner (300 × 250). Each advert was created to highlight a different aspect of the Fresh brand while maintaining a consistent visual identity, tone, and call to action across all formats.

The wide skyscraper banner focuses primarily on Fresh’s values and brand promise. Due to its tall format, this layout allowed space to communicate key benefits such as no added sugar, zero calories, natural flavouring, and sustainable aluminium packaging. This format works well for desktop placements, where users have more time to absorb information. The design reinforces Fresh’s eco friendly positioning while still feeling playful and vibrant through the use of bold colour, bubbly shapes, and brand illustrations.

The mobile banner was designed with immediacy and attention-grabbing in mind. This advert focuses on the “20% off first order” incentive alongside visuals representing the four core flavours Orange, Blueberry, Lemon Lime, and Strawberry. Given the limited space, the message is short and impactful, making it ideal for fast scrolling mobile users. This approach directly targets younger, eco conscious users within the 16–35 age range identified in my user personas, encouraging quick engagement and click throughs to the website.

The rectangle banner highlights Fresh’s tagline, “Refreshing the Planet, One Sip at a Time,” paired with a larger, more detailed visual of the can. This format balances both branding and product visibility, making it effective for placements within articles or social platforms. By scaling the can up, the advert reinforces brand recognition while keeping sustainability at the centre of the message.

All three banners include a consistent blue “Shop Now” call to action button, guiding users clearly toward the Fresh website. Referring back to my user personas, these adverts are designed to appeal to individuals who want to make healthier choices while also supporting environmentally responsible brands. Overall, creating a range of banner formats allowed me to demonstrate how Fresh can communicate different messages while remaining visually cohesive, versatile, and aligned with its exciting, eco-friendly brand personality.
